The meeting main purpose was to jointly define a Seminar/Workshop set-up concerning the increasing topic Information Knowledge Management.
The attendees came from several professional environments with different expertise, but all of them were related to a strong connection to CBRNe Risks and Security in general. Particularly, the meeting was joined by the NATO JCBRN Defence Center of Excellence (COE), Vyškov, Czech Republic; OSDIFE – Observatory on Security and CBRNe Defence; the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” – Department of Electronic Engineering; the Center for Security Training and Education of the University of the Republic of San Marino; the Joint School for Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Defence; and the Italian Joint Training Centre of Intelligence/GE, Italy.
After the opening official welcome by Professor Roberto Mugavero, President of OSDIFE, both OSDIFE and the COE have presented their principal mission, structure and expertise.
During the activities, the attendees have discussed which would be the essential phasing for the development of a seminar in order to combine each responsibilities and expertise. Subsequently, a preparatory draft, able to respect each organizations’ requirements, has been jointly compiled, establishing a common basis for upcoming co-operations.
After a short visit at the IT Defence Intelligence Center School, the meeting was concluded setting the principal basis, which would be further discussed during following months in order to realize the expected Seminar/Workshop according to all attendees’ agreement.
